Welcome to Seed Buddy. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding data collection and usage for the Seed Buddy mobile application ("App").
We do not collect any information.
Seed Buddy is designed with your privacy in mind. The App:
All data you enter into the App -- plants, photos, notes, and seed tray layouts -- is stored locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third parties.
If you delete the App, all locally stored data will be permanently removed.
Seed Buddy requests permission to use your device's camera to photograph plants and seed packets. Photos are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded or shared.
Seed Buddy uses NFC (Near Field Communication) to read and write plant identification data to NFC tags. This communication happens entirely between your device and the physical NFC tag. No data is transmitted over the internet.
Seed Buddy allows you to export your data as CSV or HTML files. These files are generated locally on your device. Sharing is initiated only by you through the standard iOS share sheet.
Seed Buddy does not integrate with any third-party services that collect data. We do not use:
